The DLR_School_Lab will stage an extensive interactive programme for visitors of all ages, focusing on the topic ‘Experiments to research planets and other celestial bodies’, including Mars rovers to investigate Martian landscapes, sample analysis for different soil types, simulation of a Mars landing, 3-D images of various planetary surfaces, as well as the launch of (water) rockets installed on site.
The Research Mile is open from 10:00 –18:00 on Saturday and Sunday; admission is free of charge.
