Wonders of nature – the intelligence of creation

Animals and plants have made Earth a unique habitat. The “Wonders of nature” exhibit at the Gasometer Oberhausen follows growth and development on our planet, and celebrates its intelligence and diversity. The highlight of the exhibit is Earth itself. The Blue Planet is brought to life, glowing in the immense interior of the Gasometer: the absolute star of the tour through “Wonders of nature” is the 20-metre-diameter terrestrial globe hovering in the 100-metre tall space of the Gasometer. The visitor experiences the fascinating phenomena of day/night and changing of the seasons.
