PublicThe Berlin Colloquium “Surviving in Space” takes an interdisciplinary approach to investigate the issue of which conditions are required in order for humans to explore space on manned missions. The physiological and psychological effects of long-term space travel will be addressed just as much as the necessary technical and operative countermeasures. The current state of research will be discussed by scientists from various disciplines and engineers with practical experience in the field of aerospace from Germany and the United States.
