Public24th Cologne Solar Colloquium: Solar process heat for the energy transition – Today’s technology and future perspectives
This year’s Cologne Solar Colloquium focusses on process heat applications in different temperature ranges. Concentrating solar thermal systems are particularly well suited to supply industry and households with large amounts of heat in the temperature range between 80 and 400 degrees Celsius. High-temperature solar process heat above 400 degrees can be a source of energy for CO2-free industry processes, for the splitting of hydrogen from water and to produce synthetic fuels.
Speakers from research and industry will give an overview on recent developments and on current and future fields of application.
The colloquium will be held in English. Participation is free of charge.
