The Alps: home to 14 million people, host to 120 million visitors a year – the largest European productive hub, a major crossroads at the heartland of Europe.
In this region, satellite applications can help strategic sectors like risk, logistics, transport, connectivity, tourism, to name but a few. DLR is supporting the EURISY conference in Berchtesgaden which is about learning, teaching, and innovating. An accent will be placed on going “from theory to practice, from research centres to enterprises”, as per the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP).
