High-performance thermal analysis technology – new measurement techniques and scientific applications for the aerospace industry

During this event, the DLR Institute of Composite Structures and Adaptive Systems will present various analysis techniques for fibre-reinforced materials. The characteristic values determined using thermal analysis are used in the design and simulation of structures. During production, the characterisation of resin systems controls specific component properties and optimises process times. The Institute will also demonstrate how new measuring methods can be developed, normalised and converted into general standards.
