ISTAR roll-out

The latest addition to the DLR research fleet is set to mark a new chapter in research into the future of aviation.

With ‘ISTAR’ (In-flight Systems and Technology Airborne Research), a Falcon 2000LX aviation research now has an aircraft that offers many more possibilities for flight simulation than previous research aircraft. Thanks to its modern equipment, design and additional technical systems, ISTAR is poised to make significant contributions towards digitalisation in aviation.
