“Lightweight construction, upside down” – Talk and Guided Tour at ZLP Augsburg

The DLR Center for Lightweight-Production-Technology (ZLP) in Augsburg is opening its doors as part of the European Robotics Week. Large robots for large structures: In his introductory talk, Michael Vistein will explain how aircraft are built ‘lightweight’ using robots and where the challenges lie, both today and in the future. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn how industrial robots are deployed in aeronautics production during the subsequent guided tour of the technology building at ZLP.
