ModVal 2027 – International Symposium on Modeling and Experimental Validation of Electrochemical Energy Technologies in Ulm, Germany
We warmly invite you to ModVal 2027 from 15 – 17 March 2027, which will take place in Ulm, Germany, a historic city on the Danube and an established centre of science, engineering, and innovation. Home to renowned research institutions and a strong industrial environment, Ulm offers an inspiring setting for scientific exchange.
Founded in 2004, the ModVal Symposium is a long-standing annual forum for advances in the modelling, simulation, and experimental validation of electrochemical energy technologies, including batteries, fuel cells, and electrolysers. Held each spring and alternating between Germany and Switzerland, ModVal is known for its in-depth discussion of model development, numerical implementation, and validation methods.
ModVal 2027 will once again bring together academia and industry, as well as theory and experiment, fostering focused exchange, well-grounded discussion, and international collaboration.
