PublicThe Institute of Flight Guidance will be holding a symposium on unmanned freighters at the DLR site in Braunschweig on 17 and 18 October 2017. Together with a wide audience of experts from industry and research, we will discuss the opportunities and challenges of integrating unmanned air freight vehicles into air traffic management (ATM) and demonstrate solutions that have already been developed.
Talks on the areas of application and ATM integration, the design of cargo aircraft, and technology and human factors will give deeper insight into aspects of unmanned freight traffic. On the afternoon of 17 October, a tour of various DLR research facilities will showcase solutions developed under the DLR Unmanned Freight Operations (UFO) project.
