Workshop “Forecasting Air Transport”

The German Aviation Research Society e.V. (G.A.R.S.) has teamed up with Airbus and the DLR-Institute of Air Transport and Airport Research for a joint workshop “Forecasting Air Transport” on various aspects in the field of air transport forecasting, such as supply, capacity and demand forecasting, forecasting methodologies, supply and demand growth drivers, and the role of the competitive environment.

Speakers include Nicole Adler (Hebrew University, Jerusalem), Volodymyr Bilotkach (Newcastle University), Ken Button (George Mason University, Fairfax), Chris Cuttle (Frontier Economics), Elsa Freville und Pedro Martins (EUROCONTROL), Marc Gaudry (Université de Montréal), Hugo Gordijn (Institute for Transport Policy Analysis of the Netherlands), Andrew Gordon (Airbus), Anne Graham (University of Westminster), Alain Lumbroso (OECD -requested), Benedikt Mandel (Mkmetrik), David Metz (University College London), David Oxley (IATA), Valentijn van Spijker (seo economisch onderzoek), Friedrich Thießen (Technical University Chemnitz), Jiangtian Xu (University of East Anglia), as well as researchers of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

The workshop is free of charge for G.A.R.S. members.
