DESCRIPTION:Copyright: NASA/SDO and AiA\, EVE\, HNMI science Teams. \nThe German Aerospace Center (DLR)\, the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) und the University of Alabama in Huntsville are looking for undergraduate or graduate students in the areas of mathematics\, physics\, informatics or engineering to take part in the Space Weather Summer Camp 2017 (24 June to 23 July 2017).\nDuring the four-week programme\, students will be taught the theoretical basics of space weather research and will explore issues regarding its practical applications. The closing date for applications is 3 April 2017. \nAdditional information is available in the Summer Camp flyer.

DESCRIPTION:The International Aviation and Space salon MAKS is one of the major world aviation forums. Once again\, DLR – the German Aerospace Center – will be present with a stand of its own. MAKS is held in the town of aircraft science and technology – Zhukovsky – at the airfield of the major national testing facility – Gromov Flight Research Institute. High on MAKS agenda are scientific conferences and symposia held under the auspices of the Russian national research centre TSAGI.
