DESCRIPTION:The Energy transition in the transport sector is currently high on the agenda of policymakers\, media\, industry and civil society – as a target\, challenge\, opportunity and threat. \nEnergy and transport researchers are yet to agree on a common language. FVEE is organising a workshop to encourage dialogue between these two perspectives. We are delighted to offer a programme with high-quality speakers and extend a warm invitation to the FVEE Workshop – Renewable Energies and Transportation \n  \nFriday\, 10 November 2017\, 10:00 – 16:00 \nGLS Campus – Kastanienallee 82\, 10435 Berlin\, Room ‘Lobby’ \nPurpose of the workshop: \n\nFVEE’s positioning\nIdentification of interfaces\nNetworking\nIdentification of gaps in research\nDiscussion of possible solutions for the Energy Transition in the transport sector\n\nEnclosed you will find the workshop programme. \nParticipation is free of charge. \nInformation on the venue is available here. \nThe date (10 November) allows participants to combine the workshop with a visit to the FVEE Annual Conference 2017 taking place on 8–9 November. \nThe event targets employees at FVEE institutes and selected representatives of the competent German Federal Ministries.
