SUMMARY:{:de}Führungen durchs DLR Institut für Raumfahrtsysteme{:}{:en}Guided tours of the DLR Institute of Space Systems{:}
DESCRIPTION:The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is the national aeronautics and space research centre of the Federal Republic of Germany. Visit DLR’s Institute of Space Systems in Bremen\, one of 20 DLR sites across Germany. \nThe Institute of Space Systems\, based in Bremen since 2007\, designs and analyses future spacecraft and space missions and assesses their technical performance and cost. This includes launchers\, orbital and exploration systems and satellites. The Institute also develops\, builds and operates its own spacecraft and missions for scientific investigations and technology demonstrations. In order to facilitate future space missions and improve the performance of existing technologies\, the Institute researches system-relevant technologies. \nTake a look behind the scenes of DLR \nLearn all about the Institute and its current projects during a guided tour of the laboratory building: why do we want to grow tomatoes on the Moon and Mars? How does a lander land on an asteroid and how do we monitor ships from space?\nCurrent projects set out to answer these questions. Visitors also have the opportunity to view a selection of laboratories and test facilities: the integration hall\, where satellites are assembled\, the Landing and Mobility Test Facility (LAMA)\, where the famous Philae lander was tested\, and the Cryo-Lab\, where scientific and technical issues of cryogenic fuel handling are investigated. Immerse yourself in the world of space research and see how Bremen contributes to this. \nDates\n26.01 = German + English\n23.02 = German + Spanish\n27.04 = German (fully booked) + English\n25.05 = German (fully booked) + Spanish\n29.06 = German (fully booked)\n27.07 = German (fully booked)\n31.08 = German (fully booked)\n28.09 = German (fully booked) + English\nAll at 15:00 \nAdmission is free of charge \nMeeting point:\nRobert-Hooke-Straße 7 \nRegistration is required for DLR guided tours and begins on 11 January 2018. SUMMARY:Vortrag: Mars Sample Return
DESCRIPTION:Wann kommen die ersten Gesteinsproben vom roten Planeten? Juni 145\n10623 Berlin\n\n\n
