SUMMARY:Bundesgartenschau (BUGA) 2023
DESCRIPTION:The German national garden show 2023 (short BUGA for “Bundesgartenschau”) in Mannheim will take place over 178 days from 14 April to 8 October 2023. For this purpose two areas Luisenpark and Spinelli Park\, will be developed on a total of 104 ha and connected with a cable car. \nAs a first use case for an automated ride operation\, the use of the prototype U-Shift is planned at BUGA23 in the experimental field. Approximately 2 million visitors are expected\, representing an operational scenario similar to a pedestrian zone due to the many contact points. \nIn order to demonstrate the U-Shift\, to give potential visitors the opportunity to exchange ideas with the scientists and to inform themselves about the prototypes\, a DLR pavilion will be the hub for DLR at the BUGA\, to which the experimental field is connected.

SUMMARY:Greentech Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:Gemeinsam für den transformativen Wandel: Während des GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin kommen vom 14.-16. Juni 2023 auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Flughafens Berlin TXL erneut alle zusammen\, die etwas verändern wollen. Drei Tage lang dreht sich alles um die neusten Technologien für einen nachhaltigen Lebensstil.  \nEs treffen sich Menschen\, Organisationen und Unternehmen aus aller Welt\, um zusammen Wege aus der Klimakrise zu diskutieren und voranzutreiben. Das Festival bietet einen Raum zum gegenseitigen Austausch und Inspiration und ist unter dem gleichen Namen eine globale Plattform. Das GREENTECH FESTIVAL will nicht nur möglichst viele Menschen mit grünen Technologien und Ideen für ein nachhaltiges Leben begeistern\, sondern sie gleichzeitig dazu animieren\, selbst zu handeln. Im Ausstellungsbereich des GREENTECH FESTIVAL werden umweltschonende Technologien\, Dienstleistungen und Produkte einem an Umweltschutz interessierten Publikum präsentiert. Auf der Konferenz des Festivals werden fortschrittliche Lösungsansätze vorgestellt und diskutiert. Der Green Award prämiert die innovativsten Projekte und Ideengeber. \nDa darf das DLR natürlich nicht fehlen. Wie im letzten Jahr sind wir wieder beim GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin vertreten\, sowohl als Jury-Mitglied für die Preisverleihung als auch als Austeller und Informations- und Impulsgeber.
