SUMMARY:Bundesgartenschau (BUGA) 2023
DESCRIPTION:The German national garden show 2023 (short BUGA for “Bundesgartenschau”) in Mannheim will take place over 178 days from 14 April to 8 October 2023. For this purpose two areas Luisenpark and Spinelli Park\, will be developed on a total of 104 ha and connected with a cable car. \nAs a first use case for an automated ride operation\, the use of the prototype U-Shift is planned at BUGA23 in the experimental field. Approximately 2 million visitors are expected\, representing an operational scenario similar to a pedestrian zone due to the many contact points. \nIn order to demonstrate the U-Shift\, to give potential visitors the opportunity to exchange ideas with the scientists and to inform themselves about the prototypes\, a DLR pavilion will be the hub for DLR at the BUGA\, to which the experimental field is connected.

SUMMARY:IAA Mobility 2023
DESCRIPTION:Dieses Jahr findet die IAA Mobility 2023 zum zweiten Mal am neuen Standort München statt. Unter dem Motto „Experience Connected Mobility“ soll die intelligente Vernetzung von Fahrzeugen und Infrastruktur erlebbar gemacht werden. \nMit dem im Betrieb umweltfreundlichsten Auto der Welt\, dem ZEDU-1\, nimmt die Verkehrsforschung des Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) die Besucherinnen und Besucher der IAA Mobility mit in die mobile Welt von morgen. Auf der Open Space-Fläche am Odeonsplatz (Standnummer OP320) wartet dieser einmalige Fahrzeug-Prototyp auf sein Publikum. \nAuf dem Summit in den Hallen der Messe München gibt das DLR (Halle A2\, D32) zudem einen Einblick in die Themen Forschungsinfrastruktur und vernetzte Mobilität: Mit dem Testfeld Niedersachen verfügt das DLR gemeinsam mit Partnern aus Industrie und Forschung über eine einmalige Infrastruktur\, um Technologien für automatisiertes und vernetztes Fahren voranzubringen. Mit dabei sind auch neue Mobilitätskonzepte. Sie zeigen Lösungen auf\, wie vernetzte Mobilität lebenswerte Orte schaffen und gleichzeitig klimaverträglich\, wettbewerbsfähig und nah an den Bedürfnissen der Menschen vor Ort sein kann.
