DESCRIPTION:This year’s event will focus on the topic “Accelerating the Development of Aerospace Materials in the Era of Digital Transformation”. \nIn an era defined by pressing global challenges such as global warming\, resource scarcity\, and rising energy costs\, the traditional approaches to deploying new materials are no longer viable. The need for fast and sustainable solutions to secure the prosperity of future generations has become paramount. \nIn this year’s Materials Colloquium of DLR’s Institute of Materials Research\, we will explore how the digital transformation has become a catalyst for change\, enabling the rapid design\, discovery\, maturation\, and deployment of innovative and efficient materials solutions across the entire value chain. \nJoin our colloquium in December for \n\nGreat talks from industry and academia\nOpen discussions and exchanging new ideas\nNew approaches to shorten the development cycles of aerospace materials\nA get together and an optional guided tour of the DLR Institute of Materials Research\n\nThe official language of the event is English. \nWe are looking forward to meeting you in December!
