SUMMARY:SUMO Konferenz 2024
DESCRIPTION:Traffic simulations are of immense importance for researchers as well as practitioners in the field of transportation. Eclipse SUMO (Simulation of Urban MObility) provides a wide range of traffic planning and simulation applications. Eclipse SUMO is a toolsuite covering road network imports and enrichment\, demand generation and assignment and a state-of-the-art microscopic traffic simulation capable to simulate private and public transport modes\, as well as person-based trip chains. \nBeing open source\, Eclipse SUMO is ready to implement new behavioral models or to control the simulation remotely using various programming environments. These and other features make Eclipse SUMO one of the most often used open source traffic simulations with a large and international user community. \nThe conference in Berlin focuses on presenting new and unique results in the field of mobility simulation and modelling using openly available tools and data. DESCRIPTION:This year’s component conference will take place on 14-15 May 2024 in Kamp-Lintfort. The annual DLR Components Conference is an information and exchange platform for experts in the field of electrical\, electronic and electromechanical (EEE) components for space applications. In addition to a varied programme with specialist presentations and discussion panels\, visitors can also expect plenty of opportunities for personal exchange. This year’s conference is being organised with the kind support of IMST GmbH. \nManufacturers will be exhibiting their latest developments at the integrated in-house exhibition. Interested companies and organisations wishing to present themselves to the conference audience can book a stand here in advance. DESCRIPTION:Together for transformative change: During the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin from 15 – 17 May 2024\, everyone who wants to make a difference will once again come together at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. For three days\, everything will revolve around the latest technologies for a sustainable lifestyle. \nPeople\, organisations and companies from all over the world will come together to discuss and promote ways out of the climate crisis. The festival offers a space for mutual exchange and inspiration and is a global platform under the same name. The GREENTECH FESTIVAL not only aims to inspire as many people as possible with green technologies and ideas for sustainable living\, but also to encourage them to take action themselves. In the exhibition area of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL\, environmentally friendly technologies\, services and products are presented to an audience interested in environmental protection. Progressive solutions will be presented and discussed at the festival conference. The Green Award honours the most innovative projects and ideas. \nOf course\, DLR is not to be missed. As last year\, we will once again be represented at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin\, both as a jury member for the award ceremony and as an exhibitor and provider of information and inspiration.
