SUMMARY:22nd Coherent Laser Radar Conference (CLRC) / 31st International Laser Radar Conference (ILRC)
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Landshut / Germany \nWe are pleased to announce that the 22nd Coherent Laser Radar Conference (CLRC) will be held together with the 31st International Laser Radar Conference (ILRC) in Landshut\, Bavaria from 23rd of June 2024 to 28th of June 2024. Both conferences are hosted by German Aerospace Center (DLR) \nLidar or laser radar is well known for over five decades right now and has evolved to the key technology for remote sensing of the atmosphere and hard targets! It covers a wide variety of technologies e.g. direct detection\, DIAL\, coherent detection\, Raman lidar etc. that focus on all aspects like backscatter properties\, aerosol classification\, wind\, turbulence. Due to this wide variety two conferences the ILRC and CLRC have been established that took place alternating\, each with a biannual schedule. Because of the Corona pandemic this schedule was disturbed and in 2024 both conferences will be held together in presence for the first time! \nLandshut is a charming small city in Bavaria\, founded in 1204\, the European middle ages\, with a rich cultural history.
