DESCRIPTION:Airspace World is the world’s largest exhibition and conference in the field of air traffic management\, flight guidance and air traffic control. From 13 to 15 May\, thousands of trade visitors from all over the world will have the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and developments in this field in Lisbon. \nThe DLR Institute of Flight Guidance will be on site with several exhibits at stand #H1710 and\, together with the Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR)\, will be presenting current research projects on air traffic management of the future. This conference aims to bring together academics and industry partners in a collaborative pursuit of advancing electric mobility on a global scale. \nFollowing the resounding success of the inaugural conference organised by the Transport Research Institute (TRI) of Edinburgh Napier University in June 2023\, held in the historic city of Edinburgh\, Scotland\, the 2nd International Electric Vehicle Conference builds upon this momentum\, elevating the discourse and innovation surrounding electric vehicles to new heights. \nThe roots of these international academic conferences trace back to the pioneering efforts of the TRI\, which initiated annual electric vehicle events in 2015\, setting the stage for meaningful discussions on the current challenges and developments in electromobility. Through these gatherings\, the TRI established a forum where experts from diverse backgrounds could converge\, exchange insights\, and shape the future of sustainable transportation. \nAt the heart of the 2nd International Electric Vehicle Conference lies a steadfast commitment to equality\, diversity\, and inclusion.
