SUMMARY:DLR_Raumfahrt_Show 2025/2026
DESCRIPTION:The DLR_Raumfahrt_Show is going on tour again! Under the motto “A journey through time into the future”\, the interactive stage programme invites schoolchildren on a fascinating excursion into the world of tomorrow. Will there be space hotels one day? Or research stations on the moon or Mars? In addition to such exciting questions about space travel\, the educational and entertaining presentation also covers other topics and projects that the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) is working on – from next-generation aircraft to transport and energy research. \nThe 90-minute show is deliberately aimed at younger pupils in years 4 to 6\, with the presenters introducing them to current research projects as well as more far-reaching visions of the future\, with the audience being involved time and again. Sometimes everyone takes part in training for the flight into space\, sometimes children help on stage with an experiment using a thermal imaging camera. Some of the experimental set-ups were developed especially for the tour by DLR’s school laboratories\, the DLR_School_Labs. Others come from the team of the well-known science show “Die Physikanten”. The programme is often spectacular – for example\, when huge rings of fog float across the hall over the heads of the audience. Other parts of the programme are more fun – for example when hula hoops or a balloon in the shape of a unicorn are used. Or when the time machine “Holly” – another new feature of the DLR_Raumfahrt_Show – secretly tells the audience what it thinks during the quiz. \nFurther information and the tour schedule can be found here. \nRegistration required!

SUMMARY:CEAS Aerospace Europe Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:The 10th CEAS Aerospace Europe Conference will take place together with the 28th AIDAA International Congress from 1 to 4 December 2025 at the Centro Congressi Lingotto in Turin (Italy). The event is organised in cooperation with the 10th Aerospace & Defense Meeting and brings together experts from research\, industry and politics. \nThe CEAS (Council of European Aerospace Societies) is the association of the most important European aerospace societies. The aim of the conference is to exchange current research results and technological developments in areas such as aerodynamics\, propulsion systems\, flight mechanics\, space technology and system integration. \nThe German Aerospace Center (DLR) will present current research and development projects at CEAS 2025 – including contributions on low-emission propulsion systems\, digitalisation and simulation\, sustainable aviation and new space technologies. \nWe look forward to your visit! \nFurther information will follow.
