Intelligent algorithms can provide new perspectives on fundamental mechanisms and accelerate the evaluation of experimental data. Therefore\, it is important to combine natural and artificial intelligence in a suitable way. \nArtificial intelligence has become very popular in recent years due to increased computational resources\, but it usually requires large training data sets. The motivation of natural intelligence is on the mathematical modeling of physical relationships.\nThis year’s Materials Colloquium will focus on the combination of both worlds. This year we will go virtually.
