SUMMARY:SUMO Konferenz 2024
DESCRIPTION:Traffic simulations are of immense importance for researchers as well as practitioners in the field of transportation. Eclipse SUMO (Simulation of Urban MObility) provides a wide range of traffic planning and simulation applications. Eclipse SUMO is a toolsuite covering road network imports and enrichment\, demand generation and assignment and a state-of-the-art microscopic traffic simulation capable to simulate private and public transport modes\, as well as person-based trip chains. \nBeing open source\, Eclipse SUMO is ready to implement new behavioral models or to control the simulation remotely using various programming environments. These and other features make Eclipse SUMO one of the most often used open source traffic simulations with a large and international user community. \nThe conference in Berlin focuses on presenting new and unique results in the field of mobility simulation and modelling using openly available tools and data. The festival offers a space for mutual exchange and inspiration and is a global platform under the same name. The GREENTECH FESTIVAL not only aims to inspire as many people as possible with green technologies and ideas for sustainable living\, but also to encourage them to take action themselves. In the exhibition area of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL\, environmentally friendly technologies\, services and products are presented to an audience interested in environmental protection. Progressive solutions will be presented and discussed at the festival conference. The Green Award honours the most innovative projects and ideas. \nOf course\, DLR is not to be missed. SUMMARY:Workshop on Model-Based Space Systems and Software Engineering (MBSE2024)
DESCRIPTION:MBSE2024 Workshop\nIn co-operation with the European Space Agency (ESA)\, the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) is organising a two-day workshop on Model-Based Space Systems and Software Engineering (MBSE2024) from Tue 28 May to Wed 29 May 2024 hosted in Bremen (Germany). \nThe workshops of this successful series is attended by both practitioners from space agencies and European space industry (primes and their suppliers)\, and researchers in applied model-based techniques\, allowing for multi-facetted exchange and knowledge transfer. \nThe workshop is organized under guidance of the MB4SE advisory group (https://mb4se.esa.int)\, which was initiated by the European Space Agency and consists of members of the national space agencies and the large-scale integrators in the ESA member states. The goal of MB4SE is to grow and strengthen the European space systems engineering community and to actively work together to promote and deploy model-based engineering in European space projects. This is achieved through organizing community building events\, with focus on knowledge sharing\, harmonization of research and development activities\, the creation and maintenance of a space systems ontology and alignment on data governance policies and their implementations. \nThe symposium will include invited talks/keynotes\, participant oral and poster presentations and interactive discussion sessions. A thematically linked hackathon will be organized in parallel.
