DESCRIPTION:Um die aktuellen und künftigen Herausforderungen zur nachhaltigen Nutzung des Weltraums aus allen relevanten Perspektiven beleuchten zu können\, liegt der Schwerpunkt des diesjährigen Symposiums auf der Vorstellung und Diskussion der sowohl zivilen als auch militärischen Strategien\, Programme und Aktivitäten. Mit dem Symposium soll Vertretern der Bundesregierung\, der nachgeordneten Bereiche und eingeladenen Vertretern aus Forschung\, Entwicklung und Industrie die Gelegenheit geben werden\, sich über die aktuelle Situation zu informieren und über Optionen für die nachhaltige Nutzung des erdnahen Weltraums und der langfristigen Gewährleistung eines sicheren Betriebs von Raumfahrtinfrastrukturen zu diskutieren.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in March 2019 for for our 4th edition of the E2Flight Symposium held in Stuttgart! \nThe E2Flight Symposium was held at the Stuttgart Airport in 2015 for the first time. The feedback was excellent and due to the popular demand we will be holding our 4th edition of this symposium. 2016\, the DLR and the University of Stuttgart examined the challenges and opportunities presented by electric propulsion in aircraft\, 2017 the focus has been on new aspects of electric flight like the feasibility as well as the scientific aspects of this new and promising technology. \nMore to come soon on the DLR Institute of Technical Thermodynamics website.

DESCRIPTION:From virtual development and automated production technology to networked research across disciplines and continents – as a pioneer of the digitalisation megatrend\, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) is researching technologies that will fundamentally change the aerospace industry. At the same time\, digital networking is bringing new opportunities to shape future technologies\, generate added value in Germany and thus strengthen Germany’s position in the long term. \nThe megatrend of digitalisation is influencing society as a whole\, whether in technical spheres\, in terms of training and qualifications or in everyday life. New jobs are emerging in robotics\, software and hardware development. Digitalisation has also produced completely new areas.
