Hylmpulse Technologies GmbH is developing a completely new type of propulsion: hybrid rockets. The SL1 rocket will launch smalt satellites into low Earth orbit. Using candle wax as a low-costfuel and LOX as an oxidizer, satellite launch costs can be cut by more than half.
