Scientists from the DLR institutes and research facilities in Berlin-Adlershof will provide answers to all these questions through interesting talks\, spectacular shows and thrilling experiments. In addition to an immensely varied programme for inquisitive adults\, there will also be plenty to discover for young researchers at the DLR_School_Lab. The suite of tools also comprises an extensive library of features that permits the addition of custom models as well. \nThe conference aims to promote scientific discourse and is targeted at anyone interested in traffic\, mobility and simulation.

DESCRIPTION:The 37th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment (ISRSE-37) will take place in in Tshwane (Pretoria)\, South Africa from 8 to 12 May 2017. The overarching theme is “Earth Observation for Development and Adaptation to a Changing World”. ISRSE-37 will be hosted by the South African National Space Agency (SANSA). \nISRSE is widely acknowledged to be one of the most significant gatherings of the international remote sensing community. The Symposium attracts senior staff of space agencies and international Earth observation programmes and thereby provides a global overview of advances in Earth observation and the consequential societal benefits. \nAfter hosting the event in Berlin in 2015\, DLR – the German Aerospace Center – is again taking part in the ISRSE\, with contributions to the panels and to the exhibition.

DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to inform you that the next TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X Science Team Meeting will take place on October 17-20\, 2016 at the German Aerospace Center in Oberpfaffenhofen/Germany. \nThe TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X Science Meeting will start with a common session for both missions on Monday morning (Oct 17)\, which will provide general information about the status of both missions. Thematic sessions for both missions will be held from Monday afternoon until Thursday afternoon (Oct 20). \nThe main goal of the meeting is the presentation and discussion of scientific results\, exchange of experience gained so far as well as to provide the latest information about the status of both missions. In addition\, the Microwaves and Radar Institute and German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD) will inform about the next TanDEM-X data acquisition plan and report about the mission proposal Tandem-L. \nInterested scientists are kindly invited.
