DESCRIPTION:Join us in March 2019 for for our 4th edition of the E2Flight Symposium held in Stuttgart! \nThe E2Flight Symposium was held at the Stuttgart Airport in 2015 for the first time. The feedback was excellent and due to the popular demand we will be holding our 4th edition of this symposium. 2016\, the DLR and the University of Stuttgart examined the challenges and opportunities presented by electric propulsion in aircraft\, 2017 the focus has been on new aspects of electric flight like the feasibility as well as the scientific aspects of this new and promising technology. \nMore to come soon on the DLR Institute of Technical Thermodynamics website.

DESCRIPTION:Energy storage systems must be afforded attention in order to accommodate the progress in collecting energy from fluctuating renewable energy sources. In addition to tracking currently available technologies\, it is important to continue monitoring systemic approaches and regulatory frameworks. Our Energy Storage Symposium in Stuttgart is intended to contribute to creating a platform for renewable energy storage that unites aspects of scientific and industrial relevance. \nThe Symposium is intended for representatives of government\, science and industry. It will offer all participants the opportunity to engage in lively discussions.We will hold tutorials on 19 March 2019 that provide an introduction to the issues that will be addressed at the Energy Storage Symposium in Stuttgart. \nDetails will be released shortly on the DLR Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics website.
