DESCRIPTION:Strengthening Germany’s position in Europe and worldwide \n  \nEurope’s answer to the growing global competition among leading launchers is Ariane 6. From 2020\, the new and more cost-effective Ariane launcher is expected to safely and successfully carry payloads into space. This goal can only be achieved through new thinking by all parties involved – new roles for industry\, ESA and national agencies\, new processes and new manufacturing methods. Germany has high-performing industries and outstanding research facilities in all the major fields associated with launch systems. The aim of the Ariane 6 Industrial Day is to create a platform for closer exchange and possible synergies in Germany\, thereby sustainably strengthening Germany’s position in the world of launchers.
