DESCRIPTION:The German Aerospace Center (DLR) excited to announce the ILRS Technical Workshop 2019 in Stuttgart\, Germany. Being one of the youngest members of the ILRS\, it is a great honour to welcome laser ranging and geodesy experts from around the world to this workshop. \nWe are looking forward to five days of presentations\, posters\, many discussions on and off the stage and two exciting tours to our laser ranging facilities. True to the slogan “Laser ranging: To improve economy\, performance\, and adoption for new applications”\, we will focus on new\, but yet little discussed ideas from the community about the future of laser ranging. \nPlease will find information about the programme and the practicalities of the workshop on the website below. Information is being updated regularly\, so please make sure to check back every now and then. If you are missing any information\, please do not hesitate contacting us. \nParticipant registration and abstract submission are now open. Since some of the events have limited availability\, please make sure to register early. \nThe deadline for both abstract submission and participant registration: 15 August. \nThe International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) is a service of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) and a key contributor to the Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS).
