DESCRIPTION:Picture: Minpromtorg Russia / Rostec \nOpen MAKS 2019 special page \nDLR\, the German Aerospace Center participates in the 2019 edition of MAKS with a booth in the center of exhibition pavillon F3. DLR’s aeronautics research on show will include a detailed demonstration model of its largest research aircraft\, the A320 ATRA. The HP3 experiment on the NASA Mars mission InSight as well as the MATROSHKA-III radiation dosimeter – the latter in collaboration with the Russian Institute of Biomedical Problems (IBMP) – represent DLR’s space research. The eROSITA x-ray telescope – supported by the DLR Space Administration with Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy in the field of space science – will also be displayed on the stand.

DESCRIPTION:The International Aviation and Space salon MAKS is one of the major world aviation forums. Once again\, DLR – the German Aerospace Center – will be present with a stand of its own. MAKS is held in the town of aircraft science and technology – Zhukovsky – at the airfield of the major national testing facility – Gromov Flight Research Institute. High on MAKS agenda are scientific conferences and symposia held under the auspices of the Russian national research centre TSAGI.
