Nicht öffentlichDear Colleagues,
The German Aerospace Centre has launched a “Humanitarian Technology Initiative”, encouraging its researchers and engineers to work more closely with the humanitarian sector and to identify and develop joint technology support projects with humanitarian stakeholders such as field workers, decision makers or logistics centres.
As you may know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the second DLR Humanitarian Technology Days had to be cancelled in March this year. We are happy to hereby invite you to an online edition of our HumTechDays, to be held on October 28/29 this year, where we want to jointly ideate and update each other on the latest trends and developments in the humanitarian technology domain.
The meeting will be split into two half-day (9h-12h30 – CET) parts and will be held fully online.
During the meeting we will have:
• Keynotes from the Executive Board of DLR, Director of Humanitarian Assistance, German Federal Foreign Office
as well as senior stakeholders from the humanitarian sector
• A panel discussion with high profile experts in the humanitarian technology domain
• Presentations and breakout groups on the latest DLR humanitarian technology developments and projects
• Joint ideation on possible joint future work and an outlook on the next steps in the DLR Humanitarian Technology Initiative.
Please have a look at our interesting programme of the online edition of the DLR HumTechDays 2020 and we are happy to inform you that registration is now open. For any questions or suggestions, please contact us at vms@dlr.de. See you online on 28-29 October 2020!
Please note that registration does not automatically guarantee your participation in the event. Upon verification of your registration and available capacities, in the next few weeks you will receive a separate e-mail informing about the final status
On behalf of the DLR Humanitarian Technology Initiative,
