DLR Materials Colloquium 2023

This year’s event will focus on the topic „Accelerating the Development of Aerospace Materials in the Era of Digital Transformation“.

In an era defined by pressing global challenges such as global warming, resource scarcity, and rising energy costs, the traditional approaches to deploying new materials are no longer viable. The need for fast and sustainable solutions to secure the prosperity of future generations has become paramount.

In this year’s Materials Colloquium of DLR’s Institute of Materials Research, we will explore how the digital transformation has become a catalyst for change, enabling the rapid design, discovery, maturation, and deployment of innovative and efficient materials solutions across the entire value chain.
