SUMMARY:2nd International Conference on Flight Vehicles\, Aerothermodynamics and Re-entry Missions Engineering (FAR)
DESCRIPTION:Sustainable Space\,\nthe keystone to the future!\nThe 2nd International Conference on Flight Vehicles\, Aerothermodynamics and Re-entry Missions Engineering (FAR) is an event organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) in conjunction with other global space Agencies and institutional partners\, including the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft und Raumfahrt (DLR)\, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)\, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)\, the the Centre National d’Études Spatiales (CNES) of France\, the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI)\, the United Kingdom Space Agency (UKSA)\, the Spanish National Institute of Aerospace Engineering (INTA)\, the Norwegian Space Agency (NOSA)\, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA)\, and the HyFAR-ARA association (HyFAR-ARA). \nSince 1998\, the FAR conference aims at providing space agencies\, companies\, organizations\, universities and research institutes with a forum of excellence in the area of flight vehicle engineering\, aerothermodynamics\, and re-entry missions. \nThe conference encompasses the whole spectrum of flying vehicles for suborbital\, orbital and exploration applications\, including upper stages\, (re)-entry\, expendable\, and reusable vehicles. \nAt the conference\, the participants are invited to showcase their latest architecture designs\, analysis and technical assessments with the aim to promote the exchange of ideas and the identification of new trends and required developments. The field covered are flight vehicle engineering\, flight physics\, aerodynamics\, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics engineering and the architecture design and analysis of space transportation and exploration vehicles. \nIn addition to the latest theoretical advances in those fields\, FAR is especially devoted to software tools. Demonstrations and short tutorials are welcome.

SUMMARY:EMEA2022: Workshop on Ion Exchange Membranes for Energy Applications
DESCRIPTION:90 participants from 20 countries made the last EMEA-workshop in June 2021 a success\, even if it was the first time\, the workshop had to be held online due to the pandemic limitations. We are very pleased to announce that the upcoming EMEA2022 Workshop is planned as an on-site event again! \nMaterial developments and ion exchange membrane-based systems for energy applications will be discussed in presence by representatives from research and industry with the focus set on anion exchange membranes. In addition to invited and contributed talks a poster exhibition offers scientists and especially young researchers and students the opportunity to present their work. A price for the best poster will be awarded. A welcome reception and the conference dinner will provide additional opportunities for lively scientific exchange in a familiar atmosphere. \nAlso this year\, the EMEA organisation team was able to attract top-class speakers from the field of alkaline ion exchange membranes for energy applications.
