SUMMARY:Bundesgartenschau (BUGA) 2023
\nDie BUGA23 in Mannheim findet an 178 Tagen vom 14. April bis 8. Oktober 2023 statt. \nDie aktuelle Pressemitteilung des DLR zur BUGA finden sie hier.

SUMMARY:{:de}the 14th IAA Symposium on Small Satellites for Earth System Observation{:}{:en}the 14th IAA Symposium on Small Satellites for Earth System Observation{:}
DESCRIPTION:The Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics in cooperation with the TU-Berlin hosts the 14th IAA Symposium on Small Satellites for Earth System Observation taking place on May 07-11\, 2023 at the Ludwig Erhard Haus in Berlin\, Germany. \nThe Symposium will provide the opportunity to meet with international colleagues again. We hope that the relocation of the meeting will allow as many participants as possible to attend the 14th IAA Symposium on Small Satellites for Earth System Observation\, as the last IAA Symposium held as an in-person meeting was in 2019. \nThe registration for the 14th IAA Symposium on Small Satellites for Earth System Observation is now open and we are excited to welcome you in May 2023 in Berlin.\nWhy attend?\n• The 14th IAA Symposium on Small Satellites for Earth System Observation will provide a forum for scientists\, engineers\, and managers to exchange information about planned and on-going programs and missions\, and present new ideas\, covering small satellite mission objectives as well as technology and management aspects for dedicated satellites for Earth and Moon observation.\n• Unique symposium programme: An excellent line-up of speakers will highlight the latest developments in the areas in the use of small satellites for dedicated missions applied to observation of the Earth System\, from technology demonstration to scientific observation or exploration missions.\nPlease visit the 14th IAA Symposium landing page for all information about program details.\n• Technical exhibition to showcase hardware and posters.\nThis Symposium is an ideal platform to showcase your latest products\, capture new leads and give product demonstrations to an international audience.\n• Excellent networking opportunities. \nThe official language of the event is English.

SUMMARY:{:de}The 1st International Seminar on Modelling\, Simulation and Machine Learning for the Rapid Development of Porous Materials{:}{:en}The 1st International Seminar on Modelling\, Simulation and Machine Learning for the Rapid Development of Porous Materials{:}
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Aerogels and Aerogel Composites of the Institute of Materials Research at the German Aerospace Center together with the working group Development and Modeling of\nNovel Nanoporous Materials of the Hamburg University of Technology is organizing the 1st International Seminar on Modelling\, Simulation and Machine Learning for the Rapid Development of Porous Materials. \nThe Seminar will take place on 10 – 12 May 2023 at DLR Cologne\, Germany. \nThe aim is to bring together young and senior scientists\, to comprise different scientific communities that all are engaged in the fundamental understanding of porous materials.\nWe encourage young scientists to present their research in progress.\nBoth lecture and poster format from all areas of computational understanding of porous media are welcome. \nTopics are centered around\, but not limited to\, these four areas: \n• Materials modelling of porous media and architectured materials\n• Molecular simulation of porous materials\n• Modelling of nanostructured porous materials\, e.g.\, aerogels\, metal organic frameworks\, etc.\n• Machine learning in porous media \nThe official language of the event is English.
