DESCRIPTION:06 / 07 October 2021\nOnline Edition \nDear Colleagues\, \nTechnology support for humanitarian aid is high on the agenda of the United Nations\, of the European Commission and the European member states as well as with many NGOs. In 2019\, the German Aerospace Centre has launched the DLR Humanitarian Technology Initiative – HumTech – encouraging its researchers and engineers to work more closely with the humanitarian sector and to jointly develop technology support projects. \nWe are happy to invite you to the online edition of the third DLR HumTechDays\, to be held on October 6/7 this year. At this occasion\, we want to ideate together as well as update each other on the latest trends and developments in the HumTech domain. The meeting will be held on two consecutive days during which we will have: \n    Keynotes\, among others\, from the Chair of the Executive Board of DLR\, Deputy Director of Emergency Management\, DG ECHO\, European Commission and the Director of Humanitarian Assistance German Federal Foreign Office\n    Panel discussions with high profile experts from NGOs\, UN\, authorities in Europe\, the private sector and more\n    Presentations and discussions\, how technology can support tackling humanitarian needs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and how it can possibly help reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030\n    We will have interactive and collaborative breakout sessions for joint ideation as well as networking\n    Special focus will be given to how we can bring HumTech solutions from lab to field and into sustained operations  \nPlease have a look at our interesting programme of the online edition of the DLR HumTechDays 2021. \nThe meeting will be free\, open and fully online. DESCRIPTION:Mit dem ITS World Congress kommt 2021 das größte Branchen-Treffen im Bereich intelligente Mobilität und Digitalisierung im Verkehr nach Deutschland. Vom 11. bis 15. Oktober treffen sich in Hamburg Expertinnen und Experten aus der Mobilitäts-\, Logistik- und IT-Branche sowie aus Verbänden und Politik. Mit am Start ist natürlich auch die Verkehrsforschung des Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). Im Gepäck sind viele spannende und innovative Technologien und Projekte. Das Ziel des DLR ist dabei immer: die Mobilität der Zukunft näher zu den Menschen zu bringen und sie sauberer und sicherer zu gestalten. \nAuf dem DLR-Stand erleben Besucherinnen und Besucher den ersten Prototyp des futuristischen Fahrzeugkonzept U-Shift. Es trennt Antrieb- und Transporteinheit und ist leise\, sicher\, automatisiert und vernetzt unterwegs. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die synergetische Verbindung von Boden- und Luftverkehr: Das Projekt City-ATM erprobt\, wie der Luftraum in Städten gemanagt und Drohnen oder Lufttaxis in städtische Mobilitätskonzepte integriert werden können. Außerdem geben Exponate Einblick in einmalige Testfelder für automatisiertes und vernetztes Fahren auf Straßen und Schifffahrtswegen oder zeigen Konzepte für den nachhaltigen und effizienten Schienengüterverkehr der Zukunft. Mehrere im Stadtgebiet geplante Live-Demonstrationen zeigen außerdem Hightech in der Anwendung. \nHier gehts zur DLR-Sonderseite.
