Februar 2025 in Sitges in der Nähe von Barcelona (Spanien)  statt  . \nDie Veranstaltung wird gemeinsam vom DLR-Institut für Kommunikation und Navigation und dem Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) organisiert\, mit wissenschaftlicher Unterstützung der Europäischen Weltraumorganisation (ESA) und der Universität Bologna. \nDas Leitmotiv der Veranstaltung wird die Rolle nicht-terrestrischer Netzwerke (NTN) in zukünftigen 6G-Systemen sein. \nDieser hochkarätige Event für die Satellitenkommunikations-Community bietet einer bewährten Tradition folgend ein äußerst spannendes Programm mit Grundsatzreden\, Tutorials und Sondersitzungen\, in denen die fortschrittlichsten Forschungsthemen der Satellitenkommunikation behandelt werden\, zusammen mit großartigen Möglichkeiten zum Netzwerken mit anderen Kollegen und Experten aus Wissenschaft und Industrie.

DESCRIPTION:Given the high participation to the past editions of the ASMS/SPSC conference and the raising interest in Satellite Communications\, we are pleased to announce that 11th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference and the 17th Signal Processing for Space Communications Workshop will take place on September 06-08th\, 2022 in Graz\, Austria\, in hybrid format. The event is jointly organized by the DLR Institute for Communications and Navigation and JOANNEUM RESEARCH\, with the scientific support of the European Space Agency\, the University of Bologna and the Graz University of Technology. \nThe leitmotiv of the event will be the role of satellite communications within future integrated 6G networks.\nThis top-level event for the Satellite Communications community will offer a very exciting programme in terms of keynotes speeches\, tutorials and special sessions\, addressing the most recent research topics in satellite communications\, together with great opportunities of networking with other colleagues and experts from both academia and industry. More details about the paper submission and the overall conference programme will be made available in the next months. \nThe official language of the event is English.

DESCRIPTION:Die 9. Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Konferenz und der 15. Workshop Signal Processing for Space Communications (Signalverarbeitung für die Weltraumkommunikation) werden gemeinsam vom DLR Institut für Kommunikation und Navigation\, der Europäischen Weltraumorganisation und der Universität Bologna veranstaltet. \nDie Konferenz findet am 10.-12. September 2018 in Berlin statt.\nDas Leitmotiv der Ausgabe 2018 wird die Rolle der Satellitenkommunikation in 5G-Netzen sein\, unter dem Motto SatCom meets 5G!\nAufbauend auf der renommierten Tradition der beiden Veranstaltungen ist diese gemeinsame Konferenz eine hervorragende Gelegenheit für Institutionen aus Industrie und Forschung\, ihre Kenntnisse auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen und Informationen über aktuelle Fortschritte und neue Technologien für mobile\, Breitband- und Rundfunk-Satellitenkommunikationssysteme auszutauschen. \nEine besondere Neuerung der Ausgabe 2018 ist die Einführung von zwei separaten Tracks:\n• Track A mit stärkerem Schwerpunkt auf den theoretischen Fortschritten mit relativ niedrigem TRL\, für den vollständige Beiträge eingereicht werden müssen.
