SUMMARY:HiPEM-TECH2022: Workshop on High Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell Technology – Materials and Applications
DESCRIPTION:HiPEM-TECH is the workshop about the technology of high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cells and brings together representatives from research and industry to present and discuss recent advancements in materials up to applications. Participants will gain valuable insights into the development of this field and the progress towards marketability. \nThe upcoming HiPEM-TECH2022 will take place from June 22nd to 24th\, 2022 in Bad Zwischenahn and is the beginning of a new workshop series which will be hosted every two years by the German Aerospace Center in Oldenburg (DLR\, Germany)\, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST\, South Korea) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU\, Denmark). In addition to invited and contributed talks\, a poster exhibition offers scientists and especially young researchers and students the opportunity to present their work and includes a price for the best poster. The get-together and conference dinner provide additional opportunities for lively scientific exchange in a familiar atmosphere and beautiful location

SUMMARY:EMEA2022: Workshop on Ion Exchange Membranes for Energy Applications
DESCRIPTION:90 participants from 20 countries made the last EMEA-workshop in June 2021 a success\, even if it was the first time\, the workshop had to be held online due to the pandemic limitations. We are very pleased to announce that the upcoming EMEA2022 Workshop is planned as an on-site event again! \nMaterial developments and ion exchange membrane-based systems for energy applications will be discussed in presence by representatives from research and industry with the focus set on anion exchange membranes. In addition to invited and contributed talks a poster exhibition offers scientists and especially young researchers and students the opportunity to present their work. A price for the best poster will be awarded. A welcome reception and the conference dinner will provide additional opportunities for lively scientific exchange in a familiar atmosphere. \nAlso this year\, the EMEA organisation team was able to attract top-class speakers from the field of alkaline ion exchange membranes for energy applications.

SUMMARY:ModVal 2022 - 18th Symposium on Modeling and Experimental Validation of Electrochemical Energy Technologies
DESCRIPTION:ABOUT \nModVal18 is the 18th event of an international symposium on Modeling and Experimental Validation on fuel cells and batteries. Initiated in 2004\, the symposium aims to connect researchers in academia and industry as well as theorists and experimentalists. Taking place every year in March\, the venue alternates between Germany and Switzerland and is always hosted by an academic institution. This time it is organized by the DLR-Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics situated in Stuttgart. The DLR models batteries as a partner of the Helmholtz Institute Ulm (HIU). \n\n\n\nGOAL & FOCUS \nFocus of the symposium is to present and discuss the latest research\, the advances made in modeling\, as well as in experimental work for model validation for fuel cells\, batteries and electrolysis. \nOver 100 attendees will be expected and will have the opportunity to extend their networking promoting new research collaborations. \n\n\n\n\nModVal18 will be held in presence. The „2G“ (German for vaccinated or recovered) rule applies. We ensure to provide you with the maximum possible safety. Please make sure to inform yourself on the rules applying for your entry to Germany!

SUMMARY:E2Flight 2021 GOES ONLINE - Emission Free & Electric Flight Conference
DESCRIPTION:Conquering the sky through e-mobility and zero emissions – this is the vision of aeronautics research at German Aerospace Center. \n\nRadical improvements have to be made to realize the vision of carbon free aircraft technology and electric flights\, as well as Concept studies for the construction of airplanes\, energy systems and combustion engines\, aspects of certifications and systems integration: E²Flight® conference covers all these aspects on the way to clean global aviation. \nSince 2015 we support this idea by holding the E²Flight® conference in Stuttgart. Particularly contributions made by speakers from industry and scientists of various disciplines\, encourage the exchange of knowledge and views. \nEngineers\, researchers from universities as well as research centers\, research groups and ministries with a connection or interest in electric powered aircraft are the target audience of the symposium.
