DESCRIPTION:25th Cologne Solar Colloquium\nFocus Topic: Digital Technologies for Concentrated Solar Power\n22 June 2022 – Hybrid conference with in-person event in Juelich\, Germany\nJuelich 10:00-17:00 h | Online 10:00-16:00 h\n \nDLR’s Cologne Solar Colloquium is the largest conference for solar thermal power plant technologies in the German-speaking area. This year\, we focus on digital technologies. \nAlready today\, digital technologies play a vital role and will become even more essential in the years to come. They offer plant developers and operators numerous fields of application to enhance a plant’s efficiency\, allowing higher outputs\, and lower electricity generation costs. \nSpeakers from DLR and our partner companies will present insights into current market trends and ongoing developments in the field of digital technologies for concentrated solar power. \nAfter two years being held as online event\, we are this year looking very much forward to an in-person event at DLR’s Juelich site. For those who cannot attend in person\, we offer the possibility to follow the presentations in real time and to address their questions via Chat. \nFor the online participants the programme ends at 16:00 h. We invite the participants in Juelich to visit the solar towers\, where we will give a demonstration of different systems\, beeing developed from DLR and industry partners. We will also take you to a guided tour up on the Multifocus tower. \nMore information
