The topic of this year’s Science Day is:
Additive Composite Structures
Applications for additive manufacturing with lightweight composite structures
In keeping with tradition, one representative from industry, from higher education and one of our own scientists will each use the three lecture blocks to report on new and exciting topics from the world of additive manufacturing. In doing so, they will illuminate the requirements from an industrial perspective, as well as ideas and methods within research and the status of current developments.
We look forward to discussing the aspects presented. To give you some insight into the institute’s practical research, we give you a tour of our research facilities, including our new additive manufacturing laboratory.
