6th KNIMS Annual Conference: Competence network for immobilisation-related muscle disorders

In the Competence Network Immobilisation-Related Muscle Disorders, we research and treat muscle disorders caused by immobilisation. With the annual conference of the Competence Network for Immobilisation-Related Muscle Disorders, we bring together practising physicians and scientists and offer a platform for the exchange of information on the diagnosis and treatment of immobilisation-related muscle disorders.

Muscle atrophy and weakness are a problem area of growing importance in medicine. In many cases, lack of exercise and lack of training measures are contributory causes. The aim of the KNIMS network and its events is to connect clinicians working in science and practice with basic researchers and to provide a platform for dialogue.
