IAA Transportation 2024

The IAA Transportation is the world’s leading event for commercial vehicles, logistics, buses and the transport sector. It brings together manufacturers, suppliers, research institutions, politicians and users to present and discuss the latest developments and future solutions for freight and passenger transport. The focus is on innovative technologies and concepts for sustainable, networked and digitalised mobility, including low-emission and alternative drive systems, automated and networked vehicles, intelligent logistics solutions, infrastructure, digitalisation and new business models in the transport sector.

The German Aerospace Centre (DLR) is once again taking part in this year’s IAA Transportation with contributions from its application-oriented research. DLR will be presenting current research and development work on key topics such as climate-neutral transport, alternative drive systems and fuels, automation and networking, digital mobility solutions, transport system analysis and logistics. DLR will also be represented with an exhibition area where selected projects, technologies and demonstrators will be presented. The participation offers space for professional exchange, networking with industry and politics as well as dialogue on future mobility and transport systems.
