NRW Festival at the State Representation Office in Berlin

On 10 June 2026, the DLR will showcase exhibits from the fields of space and transport at the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia’s traditional summer festival in Berlin. Three DLR institutes will offer guests from federal and state politics insights into their research. These include the Orion spacecraft’s crew capsule with the European Service Module (ESM), a pivotal element of NASA’s Artemis programme, and an AI-powered health management system for future lunar missions, both of which are presented by the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine. In the area of security, scientists from the DLR Institute of Software Technology will demonstrate LEO satellite resilience, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency and security of global satellite networks. Visitors will also be able to experience the AI-based driver condition detection system, 1Vision, for themselves in a driving simulator specially equipped for this purpose by the DLR Institute of AI Safety and Security.
