Welcome to the online symposium “The Train to Digitalisation”, which lives up to its name in digital format. We are very pleased about the lively interest in our research results and wish you an impressive day. As the second largest transport research organisation in Europe, DLR has been conducting rail transport research for over 20 years. It takes a systemic view of rail transport, including social, ecological and economic aspects and its integration into the mobility system. Intensive co-operation with partners from the field ensures a continuous transfer of knowledge from science to industry.

Together with our partners, we present the research results from recent years in four thematic blocks on all aspects of railway research.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 4 December from 10:00 – 17:00 and on Wednesday, 5 December from 9:00 to 14:00 at the Lilienthalhaus in Braunschweig.
