PublicEEE-Components include active and passive electronic, electrical and electromechanical components that are so-called mission enablers, i.e. they make space missions possible in the first place. The use of such components in the space sector requires special properties in terms of performance as well as resistance to radiation, vibration and temperature.
For over 20 years, the DLR EEE-Components Conference serves as an important platform for the exchange and networking of stakeholders in Germany in the field of EEE-Components. The EEE-Components Division of the German Space Agency at DLR (Space Agency) organizes the annual EEE-Components conference for manufacturers and users of EEE-components (i.e. equipment manufacturers) as well as other companies involved in the supply chain, such as test houses. Around 120 to 150 participants from over 50 companies, research institutes and universities attend this unique national EEE-Components conference in the space sector to discuss the following topics:
As part of the German-Japanese cooperation signed by the German Space Agency at DLR and JAXA, the first bi-national DLR EEE-Component Conference will take place on 20 and 21 May 2025 in Bremen, Germany, with the participation and organizational support of JAXA and guests of honor from Japan. The aim of the German-Japanese cooperation is to establish the use of automotive EEE-components in space applications.
German and Japanese companies, research organizations and universities are invited to participate as speakers or exhibitors. The conference language will be English/Japanese, accompanied by simultaneous translation in both directions.
Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited. We must therefore reserve the right to make a final selection.
