Symposium Drone Challenge Brunswick

The German Aerospace Center (DLR), in collaboration with the Lower Saxony Ministry for Science and Culture and the Volkswagen Foundation, is organising the Drone Challenge Brunswick (27–29 April 2027, Braunschweig). Students and start-ups from across Germany are invited to work together in interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges in civil security research. The event will kick off with a symposium taking place on 5 November 2026 at the DLR site in Braunschweig. This is where the competition tasks and the rules will be presented for the first time, and the first teams will be able to form. Attendance at the symposium is limited to 100 people. Early registration is therefore recommended.
