Traffic simulation conference SUMO 2016

24. May 2016 - 25. May 2016

The Institute of Transportation Systems will once again be holding the SUMO conference from 24 to 25 May in Berlin-Adlershof, where the topics are the simulation of road traffic and mobility behavior. SUMO is a free software for traffic simulation, which has been available since 2001. Both pedestrians and public traffic can be portrayed and used for simulation in SUMO modelling. SUMO contains various tools for routine searches for vehicles, visualisation of the simulation and calculation of pollutant emissions. The tool suite contains a comprehensive function library and can be extended with one’s own models. The aim of the conference is to facilitate scientific exchange and is directed to all those interested in traffic, mobility and simulations.
