XPOMET – The international medicine festival in Berlin in October 2019

XPOMET© is the new global healthcare platform for the next Generation. The three-day technology and medicine festival will inspire members of the public and members of the scientific community from 10 to 12 October 2019, with the latest discoveries and progress in the healthcare system.

International Congress on four stages

Over 5,000 guests from across Europe and around the world will see 150 stimulating speakers, 15 workshops and think tanks and more than 200 of the most innovative companies discover and promote new transdisciplinary solutions, business models and partnerships in medicine and life sciences. This program is complemented by a Hackathon, DJs, music performances and live art shows.

State-of-the-art medical technologies from space research

Innovative technologies from research, industry and clinics are the focus of the first day. Prof. Dr. Pascale Ehrenfreund, CEO of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), reports in her presentation on the innovations that DLR has to offer in medical robotics.

Experience exhibition of innovations

Modern health care is interdisciplinary. In the exhibition, you will experience the latest developments and future-oriented technologies of medicine and care of tomorrow up close. Digital Health, Molecular Medicine, Homebased Healthcare, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and many other sectors of the healthcare industry are featured. The DLR Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics with its MIRO Innovation Lab (https://miroinnovationlab.de/en/home-en/index.html) will also be there and present its robot arm MIRO, which is optimized for medical applications.
