Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the transformation of the automotive industry – Scale-up E-Drive: “Connected in purpose. United in progress.”
We support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the automotive industry in particular during the technological transformation. We do this through systematically analysing and presenting target-group-oriented transformation know-how. Our focus is on new powertrain components and developments in the automotive industry. In doing so, we help to secure technological competitiveness, value creation and employment.
The successful roll-out and ongoing operation of the nationwide Scale-up E-Drive transformation hub has created a central point of contact for SMEs across Germany. This hub supports businesses in the transformation toward electrified powertrains. Our role is to act as their main port of call for all matters relating to technological transformation.
Our new format, ‘Transformation Dashboards’, enables continuous analysis, preparation and tailored visualisation of all relevant developments in the automotive sector’s transformation. This includes industry, market, technology, product and production-specific expertise, as well as classifying this know-how in an international context. As a result, the Transformation Dashboards facilitate strategic decision-making processes in companies, help build innovation and value-creation networks, and assist with matching research and development needs for SMEs.
