On 23 and 24 November 2022, the 22 ESA member states will set the course for the European space programmes of the coming years in a geopolitically challenging environment. Alongside France and Italy, Germany is ESA’s largest partner. What are Germany’s priorities at the next ESA Council at Ministerial Level, especially with regard to the topics of competitiveness and commercialisation, promoting technology and scientific excellence, international cooperation and the contributions that space can offer to address global challenges such as climate protection and security?
