Earth observation data help us to better understand climate change and its consequences. They also help us find answers to other environmental phenomena. Time series allow us to look back in time and make improved predictions, because changes are registered and documented. Radar satellites map the Earth’s surface regardless of weather and sunlight. Furthermore, innovative solutions can prevent the creation of space debris and enable a sustainable use of space.
